CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY POLICY OF HEFT CRANES INTERNATIONAL PVT. LTD.

1. Introduction:

The concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has gained prominence from all avenues. Organizations have realized that Government alone will not be able to get success in its endeavor to uplift the down trodden of Society. With the rapidly changing corporate environment, more functional autonomy, operational freedom etc., India has adopted CSR as a strategic tool for sustainable growth.

For HEFT Cranes International Pvt. Ltd., Corporate Social Responsibility means the way it functions and conducts its business, such that it is socially responsible and socially accountable.

2. Preamble:

Ministry of Corporate Affairs has notified the Companies (Corporate Social Responsibility Policy) Rules, 2014 & Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013, which are effective from 1st day of April, 2014. This CSR Policy is framed in terms of the said section and rules.

3. Definitions:

For the purpose of this Policy, proper terms are defined as follows:

  • "Act" means the Companies Act, 2013.
  • "Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)" means and includes but is not limited to Projects or programs relating to activities specified in Schedule VII to the Act.

4. CSR Vision:

The CSR vision of the Company is to build relationships of trust with local communities, society and stakeholders as good corporate citizens and to contribute for development of society and for upliftment of unprivileged.

5. CSR Mission:

The Company’s CSR Mission is to contribute to the social and economic development of the community. Through this, we wish to build a better, sustainable way of life for the weaker sections of society.

6. Scope and Applicability:

This Policy shall be applicable to all CSR initiatives and activities undertaken by the Company for the benefit of different segments of the society, specifically the deprived, under-privileged and differently abled persons.

7. Thrust Areas:

While the Company is eligible to undertake any suitable/rightful activity as specified in Schedule VII to the Act, however, at present, it proposes to undertake the relevant activities on priority basis in the following four Thrust Areas:

  • Skill Development, especially targeted at women.
  • Sponsoring Education and Orderliness training of students and youth.
  • Sustainable Livelihood Development from Quality of life improvement.

8. CSR Objectives and Projects:

HCIPL Group will carry out/ get implemented its CSR activities projects through implementing agencies. CSR Projects will be taken up in core sectors covering influenced villages near business sites.
